Week 2: Swatches

Week 2: Swatches

In the past week, we were also required to use adobe capture and take the swatches from the images we collected and upload them to this blog. Here are the images now and the swatches I have collected.

Both of these were screenshotted on my iPhone from adobe capture, showing the natural colours of elements within our site.

Week 2

Week 2

This week I (and the group) had to take photos of a variety of elements in our site and pair them with swatches. These elements are listed below:
These images we had to find at least 20 of and photograph them, here they all are:

Week 1: Sketch

Sketch

Today we were in our groups on-site and were required to draw and answer questions regarding our site. I used the different techniques we learned in the studio to make the sketch look lifelike and pop.

I tried to use cross-hatching to make the sketch seem realistic, then I painted over it. I also used my finger to smudge the lead pencil.

This is the final product. Our group will use part of this sketch for the final composite image in which we will all contribute. This is perhaps the most noticeable feature of our site and therefore is essential to sketch.

Reflection: I rendered this sketch later into an app called procreate and this is the final product, which I feel shows our site in a more detailed light than this sketch.

Week 1

Week 1

This is the BENV1010 Blog that I must complete for the class as it is part of my assignment. We were split by Ellen our tutor into groups of five (with exception of ours being six) and assigned to a site on campus where we would undertake the rest of the task over the following four weeks.

My group is made up of people from different courses and is the first year the course has been run. The course will not only help us to communicate our ideas to the client or for a brief but to our future partners who we must collaborate with.

My group is made up of:
Andre
Qwennette
Kate
Sarah
Sophie

I found this quite funny and will incorporate it into my project as it is a part of my site that no other group would naturally have in any of their works.

This Teddy is something that I believe will almost look photoshopped and it may be something for the tutors to spot while marking our group assessment.
